All I (We) Want for Christmas: The Perry’s Team Holiday Picks

Dec 5, 2025

Hello there gorgeous!

It’s the holidays and the stores are buzzing. P’town is twinkling under winter lights, Palm Springs is glowing in golden desert sunshine and lazy pool days, and across both shops the team has been debating one very important question: what would we want for Christmas this year?

So as a little holiday inspiration for you, we put together what’s on our wish list for the holidays if we had to make 2 picks for what we would love to be given this year.

Charlie’s Picks

So, the British lady is going a bit fancy… but hey, it’s the holidays.

Champagne Pol Roger - Brut Réserve

The Champagne that Winston Churchill fell in love with. Since his first sip in 1908, this was the wine that Churchill drank pretty much daily reportedly claiming “In victory I deserve it. In defeat I need it.” Following his death the house created its prestige cuvée “Cuvee Sir Winston Churchill” as a posthumous tribute to its famous customer. Amazingly well balanced, their Brut Réserve (or white foil as it’s sometimes referred to due to its, well, white foil) punches so far above its price point that this is always a favorite to receive (and with a royal warrant on the label, is also a constant favorite at Buckingham Palace). Good enough for me!

Champagne Bereche et Fils - "Reflet d'Antan" Brut NV (1.5L Magnum)

Ok, so if you get this, they REALLY love you… I have only experienced this once at a tasting in Boston, but it’s without a doubt the best thimbleful of Champagne I’ve ever had. Released only in Magnums, this is a wine that is crafted through a perpetual solera which began in the 1980’s, where they blend reserve wines across decades and vintages. Incredible. Also, I kind of don’t want you to buy this so I can drink it for my next big birthday (these are some hard to come by bottles)…

Billy’s Picks

Anne-Sophie Dubois - Fleurie "Les Labourons", Beaujolais

Gamay is one of those grapes that just works at this time of year, and this is one of my favorites. An amazing food wine (try with a turkey dinner) or just as a fireside sipper, this Fleurie is made by Burgundian Anne-Sophie Dubois, and from her oldest vines. Simply put, this is a stunner of a Gamay. Pure, lively with a defined minerality, red fruits and spice sing from the glass.

Clos Sainte Magdelaine - Cassis Blanc, Provence

This winery is on my bucket list to visit (seriously, Google the vineyard). Perched on a peninsula above the Mediterranean, this is a favorite white which I love to open any time of year. Saline, herbal, and beautifully refreshing. It’s a dream with oysters, scallops, shrimp cocktail, or just around a fire on a cozy winter’s evening.

Howl’s Picks

Tornatore - Etna Bianco, Sicily

This is one of my all time favorites- a truly brilliant all-round crowd pleaser that I love to pour for every occasion over the holidays. Grown on the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna, it has that unmistakable mineral snap alongside orchard fruit and citrus. It’s fantastic with winter salads, fish, and creamy holiday pastas or just as a perfect holiday sipper. A brilliant “house white” for December, and a gift that will never fail.

Tyler Wines - "Mae Estate" Pinot Noir, Sta Rita Hills, Santa Barbara

This is for me some of the best Pinot coming out of Santa Barbara. Polished, balanced and exploding with delicate aromas of red fruits, and beautifully soft tannins. A fabulous fit for Christmas turkey, if I get a bottle of this it would be a struggle not to just crack it open in front of the fire with friends.

Mack’s Picks

Champagne Adrien Dhondt – Blanc de Blancs “Les Coullemets”

If you really love me, this is one of the Champagnes you'll put under the tree for me (frankly anything made by Adrien- he’s a fox, google him). Crisp and refreshing made in very small quantities. Bright bubbles for those cold winter nights, this is what I want to sip at Christmas.

Stein - Riesling Blauschiefer Trocken, Mosel, Germany

This isn't your momma's Riesling (Trocken=Dry). From one of my favorite producers, this Riesling has fantastic minerality and abundant acidity. I want this to come with me to my upcoming holiday drinks parties I'm heading to. A splash of this and a cheese plate make me a happy guest.
