Small independent businesses are the lifeblood of the economy, and indeed form a central backbone to our local communities.
From the local book store, to that amazing coffee shop, to your favorite restaurant, to the store you buy doggy treats (and obviously to your favorite wine store), the future of independent, local businesses that make all our communities better places to live, is at risk. So in these changing times we're asking you to lean-in to those businesses you love.
THREE SIMPLE WAYS TO HELP OUT
1. use your wallet
If you love them, buy from them! They may be a few dollars more on certain products, they may not offer overnight shipping, you may have to make an extra stop on your shopping rounds, but their existence in your neighborhood is at threat. Seriously.
2. google review
Takes 10 seconds, makes such a difference. Help make businesses you love more visible in Google searches, and help them get more customers. You can rate us here, but please take the time to do this for other businesses you love.
3. tell your friends
Word of mouth is free, and so, so powerful. Chat about businesses you love over cocktails or at dinner, recommend them, do a quick post on your social channels... It all makes such a difference, and costs nothing.
