In 1989, Grace and Ken Evenstad settled in the Willamette Valley, with a deep appreciation for the wines of Burgundy and a faith in Oregon before there was a national market for domestic Pinot Noir. Soon after arriving to the Valley, the Evenstads invested in a 42-acre hilltop estate in the Dundee Hills effectively creating Oregon’s luxury wine industry.
The 2022 ‘Evenstad Reserve’ Pinot Noir showcases the depth, complexity, and elegance that define Domaine Serene. Aromas of dark black cherry, sassafras, cola, and delicate lilac lead into a full-bodied palate layered with bramble, juicy cherry, and a lift of fresh raspberry. Silky weight and impeccable balance carry through to a bright, mouthwatering finish that lingers long after each sip. Vibrant acidity invites you back for more, making it an ideal pairing for charcuterie, hors d’oeuvres, or classic poultry dishes like cassoulet.
