Founded by Yuno Hayashi and named for her grandfather, OKA offers a growing range of distinctly Japanese spirits and liqueurs made from local rice spirits, Junmai sake, and hyper-regional botanicals. Each expression provides not only endless drinking possibilities, but a gateway to Japanese flavors and traditions.
Crafted as a workhorse spirit, OKA gin fully embraces bold juniper using both Macedonian juniper for its classic bright, piney aromas and Himalayan juniper for its lower-toned, earthier flavors. Along with piquant young ginger and a medley of seasonal citrus varieties including yuzu, sudachi, and Satsuma Mandarin orange, this gives big, bold aromas of yuzu, juniper, sansho peppercorn, and orange oil precede a spicy palate highlighting piney juniper, earthy ginger root, and vibrant lime with Mandarin orange and soft rice sweetness
