At the heart of Chinon, Matthieu Baudry quietly crafts wines defined by purity and site-expression. His “Le Rosé” 2024 captures the lighter, fresher side of Cabernet Franc — direct-pressed, minimally handled, and alive with terroir. The result is rosé that doesn’t shy from structure or nuance, even at a youthful 2024 vintage.
Vinified with native yeasts and fermented in un-lined cement vats, the wine is bottled with minimal sulphur and no dosage. This approach magnifies the gravelly, mineral soils and the cool Loire climate, delivering rosé of both texture and precision.
In the glass you’ll find aromas of white cherry, crushed river stone, and a hint of citrus zest. On the palate it’s crisp and refined, offering bright berry fruit, fine herbaceous lift and a clean saline seam that stretches through the finish. Elegant, cool-climate rosé — perfect for sunlit patios, light seafood, or to sip on its own as the evening fades.

- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
