“Carlin” is Boniperti’s engaging interpretation of Piedmont’s signature red grape — a Nebbiolo that marries aromatic perfume with tensile freshness. This wine isn’t about brute force; it’s about clarity and balance, showing how Nebbiolo thrives outside Barolo and Barbaresco while still carrying that hallmark sense of purity.
Fermented with natural yeast and aged thoughtfully in neutral vessels, the wine preserves fruit expression and site detail. The bouquet is lifted and inviting: red cherry, raspberry leaf, and a hint of dried herbs. On the palate, juicy red fruit meets bright acidity and fine tannins, all held together by a chalky, mineral streak that carries through the finish.
