At the foot of the Langhe’s rolling hills, the Bagnasco sisters at Brandini bring youthful energy to one of Barolo’s most elegant villages. Their 2020 “La Morra” captures this edge beautifully — fresh, floral, and structured.
Fermented parcel by parcel with native yeasts and aged in large Slavonian oak botti for about 24 months, the wine is built to deliver depth without heaviness. The sourcing from multiple La Morra crus gives layered vibrancy and the estate’s organic farming adds purity of fruit.
On the nose, you'll find wild cherry, rose petal and a gentle herbaceous note of balsam. The palate is refined yet persistent — bright red fruit, fine-grained tannins and a hint of wild cherry stem give way to a long finish marked by cool mineral tension.
