Grapes: Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with small portions of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot
Crafted by winemaker Dave Phinney, Details is built around the idea of precision — every vineyard, barrel, and blend choice made deliberately to show Cabernet’s depth without excess weight. The 2021 vintage reflects a near-perfect growing season, yielding fruit of richness, balance, and finely knit structure.
Fermented in small lots and aged in French oak (a portion new), the wine opens with aromas of blackberry, cassis, and plum, followed by graphite, cedar, and a touch of cocoa. On the palate, it’s plush yet composed — dark fruit framed by polished tannins and bright acidity, finishing long and dry with a whisper of spice and oak.
