Grapes: Malbec / Cabernet Franc Blend
Made from vineyards owned by partners Simon & Simon (hence "double S"), partners and local residents of the Coachella Valley, comes this fabulous example of fabulous Argentine winemaking.
The Uco Valley is about an hour's drive south of the city of Mendoza, tucked up in the foothills of the Andes. Although the days are hot, the higher elevation of the valley gives cooler nights, meaning the grapes maintain acidity, leading to a classically full-bodied Malbec but perfectly balanced with acidity with no jaminess.
The addition of Cabernet Franc to this Malbec adds a herbal earthiness, with a touch of pepper and floral notes, perfect for foods (think steak!) but also charcuterie boards or hearty pasta dishes.

- To exchange we require the faulty product to be returned to the store.
- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
