Grapes: 100% Pinot Noir
The 2022 vintage of “Clos du Cellier aux Moines” captures the essence of modern Givry — pure, polished, and quietly powerful. Warm days and cool nights produced Pinot Noir with ripe, generous fruit while preserving the vineyard’s signature freshness and mineral poise.
Fermented with native yeasts and aged in French oak barrels (around 25% new), the wine marries precision with depth. Aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and dried rose lead into subtle notes of spice, cedar, and forest floor. On the palate, it’s layered and finely textured — bright fruit framed by taut acidity and refined tannins, finishing long and elegant with a distinct chalky edge.
