At the heart of Montalcino lies one of Tuscany’s most passionate estates. Led by Donatella Cinelli Colombini, this domaine carries a strong legacy of women in winemaking and a clear dedication to place. The 2020 Brunello reflects the estate’s hallmark elegance — powerful yet refined, built for both immediacy and longevity.
This vintage was gently vinified with native yeasts and matured for more than three years in large Slavonian oak casks (tonneaux). No rush, no shortcuts — the focus stays resolutely on varietal purity and terroir expression.
In the glass, it reveals aromas of black cherry, cassis, and a swirl of tobacco leaf, with hints of violet and baking spice. The palate is supple yet structured — ripe red fruit meets polished tannins and a fine mineral thread. Its finish is long and poised, ready now but promising further depth over time. This Brunello stands beautifully beside slow-roasted meats, truffle-rich pasta, or simply to be aged for future reward.
