Hangar 1 was born out of craft-spirit ambition: in a repurposed hangar overlooking San Francisco Bay, two entrepreneurial distillers sought to make vodka with character rather than anonymity. The unique blend of agricultural grain and California-grown Viognier gave the brand a foothold—made in small batches, with flavor and clarity as priority rather than mass scale.
Distillation is done in copper pot stills alongside column distillation, combining careful, slow-run techniques with careful blending. The result: a vodka that retains subtle personality—dusting the line between grain-and-grape spirit and a pure, clear finish.
On the nose you’ll sense delicate floral notes, a hint of honeysuckle and clean grain sweetness. The palate is smooth and refined: soft grain texture, a whisper of pear or white fruit, and a long, clean finish with just enough nuance to invite sipping neat but versatility for cocktails. This is vodka made for more than mixers.

We regret that the only products we can accept for return are faulty goods where we will provide a like-for-like replacement.
- To exchange we require the faulty product to be returned to the store.
- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
