Le Clos des Mouches is one of the best known "Clos" in Burgundy located at the southern end of the Beaune appellation, next to Pommard.
The 2023 vintage brings together vineyard richness and pinpoint clarity: a Chardonnay that marries sun-warmed fruit with mineral lift. On the nose you’ll find aromas of white peach, lemon zest, and crushed oyster shell. The palate is layered and finely textured — ripe orchard fruit carried by bright acidity, a subtle wave of chalky minerality and a finish that stretches with cool precision. This is white Beaune of nuance and reserve, ready to shine now and evolve beautifully in the cellar.
