It was originally coined by Harry Croswell in The Balance and Columbian Repository dated 1806. Almost sixty years later a well-known “Professor of Cocktails” Jerry Thomas defined the cocktail in his book How To Mix Drinks; or, The Bon Vivant’s Companion in 1962 as a traditional mixture of “spirits, sugar, water, and bitters.”

- To exchange we require the faulty product to be returned to the store.
- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
