Grapes: 100% Chardonnay
From the historic Maison Champy — founded in 1720 and one of Burgundy’s oldest negociants — this 2023 Chablis blends tradition with accessible clarity. While not from a grand-cru block, it captures Chablis’ crisp high-latitude character: brisk acidity, limestone soil energy and a bright youthful drive.
Winemaking remains clean and precise: the fruit is gently pressed, fermented in inert vessels with minimal oak influence, and bottled to preserve freshness. The aim is immediate pleasure with enough structure to develop gracefully in the near term.
Aromas open with lemon zest, green apple and subtle white blossom. The palate follows with mouth-watering citrus, a hint of pear skin and the hallmark Chablis mineral streak — chalky and clean. The finish is refreshing and poised: light-footed yet composed. A fabulous value bottle for seafood, shellfish or simply crisp, chilled enjoyment.

- To exchange we require the faulty product to be returned to the store.
- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
- Any returns are at the customer’s expense.
