Grapes: 99% Sauvignon Blanc, 1% Semillon

The latest wine coming from the incredibly talented Chiara Mondavi (grand daughter of Robert), Sentium was inspired by the efforts and experience with Fume Blanc, of three generations before, in crafting a white wine from California that can stand in the company of the great wines of the world.

When first poured, aromas take you to the seaside – crushed seashells, brisk ocean air, and wet stone on the nose. Delicate floral notes, crisp Asian pear, honeysuckle, and lychee begin to weave through the minerality. A bright and energetic wine with flavors of savory lemon curd and white nectarine mingle with freshly zested Meyer lemon. A silky midpalate, and extended mouthwatering salinity on the finish harmonizes with a texturally lifted mouthfeel. This wine is a true testament to the care and devotion given to it, in both the vineyard and the winery.
