Howl, our manager in Palm Springs, has a special place in his heart for Matthews Winery. He worked in all three of their tasting rooms in Woodinville before coming down to the sunny desert.
Matthews has long been a benchmark for Washington Cabernet, and the 2021 vintage shows why. Sourced from top Columbia Valley vineyards, it balances ripe blackcurrant, plum, and blackberry with notes of graphite, cedar, and warm spice. The region’s signature diurnal shifts give the wine both richness and bright, natural lift. A portion aged in French oak adds polish and fine structure without overwhelming the fruit. The result is a confident, elegant Cabernet that showcases Washington’s power, clarity, and finesse in beautiful harmony.

- To exchange we require the faulty product to be returned to the store.
- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
