Howl, our manager in Palm Springs, has a special place in his heart for Matthews Winery. He worked in all three of their tasting rooms in Woodinville before coming down to the sunny desert.
Matthews has been championing Washington fruit since the late 1980s, crafting elegant, expressive wines that show the purity of Columbia Valley vineyards. Their 2022 Sauvignon Blanc brings bright orchard fruit, citrus zest, and a gentle herbal lift, shaped by the
region’s warm days and cool nights. Partial aging in neutral oak softens the edges and adds quiet texture without muting freshness. Crisp, polished, and full of energy, it’s a vibrant Washington take on a classic style.

We regret that the only products we can accept for return are faulty goods where we will provide a like-for-like replacement.
- To exchange we require the faulty product to be returned to the store.
- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
- Any returns are at the customer’s expense.
