At his home estate in the Russian River Valley, Paul Hobbs crafts Pinot Noir with a winemaker’s precision and a farmer’s intuition. The 2022 vintage reflects the vineyard’s quiet confidence — rich, layered fruit shaped by cool morning fog and afternoon sun.
Fermented with native yeasts and aged in French oak barrels (a portion new), this wine marries ripe red fruit and fine tannins with a seamless sense of balance. It’s generous yet poised — unmistakably Sonoma, but with the tension and finesse that define Hobbs’ style.
Aromas of raspberry, black cherry, and rose petal rise from the glass, followed by hints of baking spice, cedar, and forest floor. The palate is supple and detailed — juicy red fruit framed by subtle oak and lifted acidity. Fabulous.
