Grapes: 97% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Cabernet Franc, 1% Merlot
Dark berry aromas and flavors, along with undertones of plum and cassis, complement the wine’s elegant structure, impeccable balance, and fine tannins. A small amount of Cabernet Franc, a new addition to the blend, contributes refined notes of coffee and tapenade, and a touch of Merlot adds a hint of sweet cherry.
From a vintage that will be remembered for producing wines with great concentration and purity of fruit, this is a classic Washington Cab. Drinking beautifully on release, it promises to take on added complexity and richness for those with the patience to cellar.
