Established in 2011, TATE is known for single expression wines from independently owned, micro-vineyards across the valley floor and mountain sides of the Napa Valley. Founded by husband and wife team David & Suzanne Tate; they have grown to producing just over 1,000 cases annually of Chardonnay from Yountville, Merlot from Calistoga and single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon's from St. Helena, Mt. Veeder and Howell Mountain.
From higher elevation on Howell Mountain, the Jacks Vineyard Cab shows off a beautiful deep purple, and is intensely fragrant with black raspberry, anise and fresh truffles. Acai berries, plums and light roast coffee is also apparent. The wine has a wonderful mouthfeel, moving to the cocoa dust tannins that Howell Mountain is known for, followed by fresh vanilla bean, slight eucalyptus and dark berry fruit. The tannins are softer than in previous years, but definitely present in a light chalky way with great mountain acidity.

- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
