Grapes: 97% Debina and 3% Vlahiko
"Paleokerisio" is an orange (skin contact), semi-sparkling, semi-dry wine, made with 97% debina (an indigenous white grape) with 3% vlahiko (an indigenous red grape). Light natural carbonation reveals a richness of flavors and aromas enhanced by a delicate sweetness of baked pear or apples on the finish. It is aromatically complex with a refreshing, almost cider or sour beer-like quality, on the palate. Exhibiting flavors of apple butter with a mild oxidation, this wine is a great intro to "orange" wines for both wine and beer drinkers alike!
