The 2018 vintage, shaped by a radiant growing season, captures the house’s signature richness while offering a striking mineral clarity.
Composed primarily of Pinot Noir (Madame Cliquot's favorite grape) from the house’s finest Grand Cru sites, with a touch of Chardonnay for lift, the wine is aged on lees for nearly a decade before release. The result is a Champagne of luminous depth — structured yet graceful, with layers that unfold slowly and deliberately.
Aromas of white flowers, citrus confit, and toasted brioche lead into notes of pear, almond, and chalk. The palate is both vibrant and creamy, carried by fine, persistent bubbles and a saline finish that glows with quiet persistence. La Grande Dame 2018 is a portrait of finesse and longevity — Champagne as art, crafted for contemplation and celebration alike.
