Under the guidance of Nicolas Potel, Domaine de Bellene produces wines that blend old-vine depth with modern precision. The 2022 Savigny Blanc captures that approach beautifully — generous fruit balanced by mineral poise and quiet structure.
Fermented in French oak barrels, a portion new, the wine spends time on lees to build texture while preserving freshness. The result is a white Burgundy that feels honest and complete: ripe yet restrained, detailed without fuss.
Aromas of pear, lemon zest, and acacia open the glass, followed by hints of almond and wet stone. The palate is supple and finely knit, with orchard fruit and citrus supported by gentle oak spice and a clean, chalk-edged finish.
