Grapes: 100% Pinot Noir

In Chambolle-Musigny, few names carry the reverence of Roumier — for the house, it’s always been about purity, terroir and elegance without excess. The 2023 vintage of the “Chambolle-Musigny” village-level bottling offers a compelling entry into that world: buoyant, detailed and subtly refined.

The grapes were fermented with a high percentage of whole clusters and matured in fine French oak (a modest portion new) to maintain clarity of fruit and site. The goal: no show-manship, just expression — fresh, layered, and true to the hillside.

On the nose you’ll find wild cherry, cranberry, rose petal and a hint of forest floor. The palate is high-tension yet supple — bright red fruit, fine tannins and a streak of limestone-driven minerality carry through to a finish that lingers with precision. A bottling that will delight now but reward careful keeping.
