A true ‘grower’ Champagne, Chartogne-Taillet is a family run house that is seen as one of the hottest in the Champagne region. A tiny estate, it is situated on a First World War battlefield, making ploughing risky still today.
Le Rosé is a blended Champagne composed of Chardonnay, and red grape varieties (mostly Pinot Noir). The blended red wine comes from one of two plots recognised for the quality of their red-wine grapes. In certain years, from the Orizeaux plot, and since 2017, from the Les Fontaines plot in Saint Thierry. Le Rosé is an exception among the house's wines. It requires more varied oenological work than our single-vineyard Champagnes do. The effect of this addition of red wine to white wine necessitates specific decisions to avoid excess opulence, fruitiness or tannicity.

- To exchange we require the faulty product to be returned to the store.
- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
- Any returns are at the customer’s expense.
