Nestled in the heart of Chablis, Domaine Moreau-Naudet crafts wines that blend relentless precision with expressive texture. Their “Vaillons” 1er Cru 2023 shows what happens when old vines meet elevated winemaking: a Chardonnay of focus, drive and unmistakable sense of place.
Fermented with native yeasts and gently matured in a mix of stainless steel and older oak barrels, this wine emphasizes purity and minerality over force. The result is refined yet resonant — clear in its structure, expressive in character.
In the glass, the bouquet reveals white peach, lime zest and crushed seashell. On the palate it’s taut and layered — green apple and lemon pith, underpinned by fine minerality and a whisper of almond. The finish lingers with saline clarity and quiet depth. A Chablis that invites both early enjoyment and respectful ageing.
