Grapes: 100% Chardonnay

Guy Roulot, a legendary producer of some of the finest Meursaults, if not some of the world’s finest white wines, took his family’s small production domaine to stardom. Since his death in 1982, his son Jean-Marc has brought even more notice to a domaine that had already enjoyed a great reputation. The wines of Domaine Roulot are now among the most sought after wines in all of Burgundy. 

“Les Narvaux,” is a small site located just above  above Meursault’s Premier Cru vineyards. The altitude gives it a slightly cooler climate, which combined with the limestone soils gives a fresh, mineral edge its wines. The 2022 vintage was on the warmer side, and the resulting wine shows lots of citrus and green apple fruits, with a fabulous balance of richness and mineral acidity. Drinking well now, this will handsomely reward 10 years in a cellar.
