Fingers Crossed is an artisanal Rhône-based winery in the Ojai Valley. Owners and winemakers Nikolas and Julia Krankl are hyper-focused on quality over quantity, producing a miniscule 1,900 cases annually. Working with top vineyard sources in Santa Barbara County, their approach focuses on ripeness and concentration, without losing structure or energy.
“Life & Death” 2022 is built entirely from Syrah, drawn from carefully selected sites and handled with a measured, thoughtful approach in the cellar. A portion of whole clusters adds lift and aromatic complexity, while aging in French oak brings depth and integration.
Deep and layered, it shows notes of blackberry, dark plum, and cracked pepper, with hints of olive, violet, and warm spice. The palate is full-bodied and textured, with fine tannins and a line of freshness that keeps everything in balance. Powerful but composed, it pairs naturally with grilled meats, slow braises, or richer, savory dishes.

- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
- If the same product is not available, we will refund in full to the original form of payment.
