A historic Campbeltown distillery reimagined in the 21st century, Glengyle Distillery was originally founded in 1872, with production ceasing in 1925. After a four year re-build to restore the buildings and install the production equipment, the first spirit was distilled in 2004 to go on to produce Kilkerran Single Malt.
Kilkerran 17 Year Old Single Cask Scotch Whisky is a limited-edition bottling celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Glengyle Distillery's reopening in 2004. Distilled in May 2007, aged in a refill sherry hogshead, and bottled in June 2024, this expression offers a rich and nuanced experience, embodying the expertise and dedication that defines Kilkerran’s craft.
On the nose, elegant aromas of dried fruits, sherry-soaked raisins, and hints of warm spice, melt into a palate with layers of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and stewed fruits complemented by gentle oak and a touch of sea salt. The finish is long and warming, with lingering sherry sweetness and a whisper of smokiness.
With only 269 bottles produced, this whisky is a rare collector’s gem.

- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
