Grapes: 100% Merlot

An unusual gem from California. Merlot's not your typical grape for rosé, however Paradigm winemaker Heidi Barrett has done a wonderful job creating a truly extraordinary wine. This is the only rosé they produce, otherwise focusing on big and bold Cabs, Merlots, and other Bordeaux varietals.

Only specific blocks of grapes are chosen for this particular expression of Merlot, with juice then saigneed - or "bled" - off the top of the crushed grapes to produce this fresh and fun rosé.

Delicious and bright, this is must for red wine lovers who want to try something lighter. Hints of strawberry and light flowers prevail, but with a deeper edge of flavor. Fantastic for food, this rosé will pair well with slightly deeper, richer foods like salmon or duck. Enjoy chilled, of course!
