The Camarena family has been making the world’s foremost tequilas in Los Altos de Jalisco since 1937. Today, Felipe Camarena and his sons, Luis Felipe and Alan, are the fourth generation to carry on this heritage.
The spirit rests for around 18 months in used bourbon barrels, gaining color and texture without losing its core freshness. The oak lends gentle warmth, framing the agave’s natural sweetness rather than masking it.
Aromas of roasted agave, honey, and dried citrus unfold into deeper notes of vanilla, spice, and cocoa. On the palate, it’s smooth yet structured — caramel and toasted oak meet minerality and a hint of pepper. The finish is long, balanced, and quietly complex. A tequila that feels both elegant and grounded — perfect neat, or savored slowly with good company.
