G4 is the creation of Felipe Camarena, a fourth-generation tequila maker whose family has been producing tequila in Jalisco for generations. At his El Pandillo distillery in the Highlands, Felipe combines traditional methods with some ingenious innovations, producing exceptional tequilas that put the character of the agave firmly centre stage. The name G4 celebrates four generations of the Camarena family.
The Clásico Reposado begins with mature Highland agave, slowly cooked in stone ovens, crushed using Felipe's custom-built Felipestein roller and fermented before distillation. The tequila is then rested for at least six months in American oak barrels previously used for bourbon. G4's distinctive blend of rainwater and natural spring water helps preserve the fresh, mineral character of the agave, while the oak adds a little extra depth.
Cooked agave, vanilla and citrus meet gentle caramel, cinnamon and a touch of toasted oak. The palate is silky and beautifully balanced, with sweet agave, warm spice and a subtle peppery kick leading to a clean, lingering finish. Excellent sipped neat or over ice, but equally impressive in a premium Margarita or Paloma. A Reposado that proves great tequila doesn't need to hide behind the barrel.

- For returns of wines which are corked, please re-seal after tasting and return us the (nearly) full bottle. We cannot exchange if the bottle has been consumed.
