Grapes: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara

“Ca’ del Laito” sits at the heart of Bussola’s range — a wine that bridges everyday drinkability and quiet complexity. The fruit comes from younger parcels that share the same hillsides as the estate’s Amarone and Recioto vineyards, giving the wine a sense of depth that’s rare at this level.

After a brief drying period and a slow fermentation, the wine is aged in a mix of large Slavonian casks and smaller French barrels. The result is a Valpolicella with both warmth and definition — the generosity of ripe red fruit balanced by Bussola’s trademark tension and polish.

The nose opens with cherry, plum, and a touch of dried rose, framed by spice and cocoa. The palate is supple and layered, with flavors of dark berries, herbs, and a hint of balsamic depth. Fine tannins and lively acidity carry through to a clean, savory finish.
